Testimonials
"I participated in Shane McCoy's study course in 2003, due to the fact that it had been many years since I had attended the HCSO Academy or college. I found that not only were the handouts and practice tests that were given extremely helpful, but I also learned a great deal about the oral review board process. After achieving the second highest score on the exam and a solid score on the oral board, I highly recommend Sergeant McCoy's study course to anyone who is serious about doing their best on the promotional process. I am sure that you will not be disappointed."
Sergeant J.T. "Tiger" Dousay
“After I took Shane's study course in 2003, I found that it helped me get organized and prepared for the test. It provided me with the structure I needed in my busy lifestyle. The practice tests are great for getting you in the test taking mode! My results are proof that you do not have to be maxed-out on seniority points (I had 24 of a maximum 30) and came out number three on the list. STUDY HARD AND GOOD LUCK!”
Sergeant Eric B. Clegg
"In 2003, I decided to take the promotional exam, but being out of school so long I worried that I did not have the study skills needed to pass. I needed all the help I could get and Sergeant Shane McCoy's course made all the difference. The course not only taught me the test material but proper study and test taking techniques along with memory retention skills needed to bring it together on exam day. Not only did Shane provide handouts to condense the study material, but we also took weekly practice exams to get us familiar with both the material and testing process. The weekly tests were so close to the actual exam that I initially scored a 93, but later challenged a question and ended up with a 94. If you are concerned about the price as I was, let me assure you that it was worth every penny and then some. Good luck!"
